I am a rag rug maker, feltmaker, and I have recently taken up natural dyeing..
I work from my home studio in East Sussex,. I accept commissions; and I sell my work at shows and via Instagram @debbiesiniska

My work has appeared in the Times and Telegraph national newspapers, and for the National Trust. I have contributed work to many craft books and journals; I appeared on channel 4 tv with Kirstie Allsopp, and for BBC South East, when I took my project 'Creativity in Schools' to primary schools in the more deprived areas of Brighton and Hove and Kent, for which I was awarded sponsorship from Brighton and Hove City Council, Veolia, and Kent War on Waste, culminating in several wonderful exhibitions of childrens work, much to their pride and excitement!
I ran a team building workshop for actors at the Donmar Theatre in Covent Garden, and have taught many a packed house for the WI.
Twice a year, I teach a short course at West Dean College, West Sussex for rag tmrug making, and I ran my own successful ' Eco Art Club after~school classes which I really enjoyed, for about 12 years in local promary schools, until the Covid 19 pandemic..
My work has been exhibited in the V&A Museum, London along with the Heritage Craft Association , of which I am a mrmber, and also for the Tate Gallery shop, Millbank, London; when I was commissioned to create eight Bloomsbury style rugs celebrating Bloomsbury art.
I was asked by the Charleston Trust to create a reproduction of an old Bloomsbury style rag rug, that now lies in John Maynard Keynes bedroom at Charleston; bohemian home of artists Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant , who were part of the literart/art group ~ the Bloomsbury Set, in the 1920's.
